DBT Skill Building Group for girls

Your daughter is beautiful and unique and deserves everything good in this world.

But what’s keeping her from seeing that too?

Does she…

  • Perceive herself and her abilities negatively?

  • Struggle with anxiety and/or depression?

  • Feel pressure to be ”perfect?”

  • Feel sad or upset and not know why?

  • Find herself in relationships in which she’s treated unfairly?

  • Avoid emotions by shutting down or self-harming?

  • Feel overwhelmed by emotions?

  • Struggle with self-esteem and standing up for herself?

The truth is… when the above feels too big, we don’t allow ourselves to thrive.
We struggle. We don’t ask for help. We feel worse.

And we want her to thrive, right?! To be happy and assertive and own her potential.

If you answered YES to at least two of the above… DBT Skills training group could be a great fit to give your daughter the skills she needs to thrive - to manage big emotions, build healthy relationships, improve self-esteem, and decrease anxiety, depression, and self-harm behaviors.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based therapeutic modality that has been proven effective in managing intense emotions, reducing self-harming behaviors, and improving communication and relationships. This group will focus on building the skills in each of the four modules of DBT: core mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance.
